This damascus knife series feature unique Suminagashi Damascus-patterned blades with a core of AUS10 stainless steel with a hardness of 60-62 HRC. The blade provides excellent rust resistance and a long-lasting edge as well as its beautifulness.
The handles on these knives are made of Octagonal-shaped Red Sandalwood with Red ring or Octagonal Oak wood dyed Japanese Lacquered (Urushi) that recalls the images of Japanese tradition.

Mr. Keiichi Fujii, a 3rd generation master sharpener who received the certification of the traditional craftsmen in the knife capital Sakai City (Osaka), got his start in the knife business while helping his grandfather in the workshop as a kid, and has more than 50 years of knife production experience and over a hundred years of knife history in his family. He continues to sharpen knives at high quality getting the popularity of his products. Recently he has been passionately passing down to young generation his excellent sharpening skills.
