The Misuzu VG10 Core series feature stylish sharp form with a core of VG10 high carbon stainless steel with a hardness of 60-61 HRC, which provides excellent edge retention. The unique san-mai awase double-edged blade are fully handmade by master sharpener Yamato Miyawaki.

The handles on these knives are rounded magnolia wood dyed Japanese lacquered (Urushi) with brass ferrule that recalls the images of Japanese tradition. Each knife is hand sharpened to ensure maximum sharpness out of the box.
