The blade of KANETSUNE KC-860 line is uniquely “ALL” made of VG-10 stainless steel in mono-steel construction (solid piece of VG10).



This material is well known as a material of the sharp knives, and has which provides excellent rust resistance and a long-lasting edge as well as its beautifulness.

Gyuto (Chef’s Knife)


The handles on these knives are Half Rounded Octagonal Compressed Laminated Wood dyed Lacquered (Urushi) that recalls the images of Japanese tradition.

Nakiri (Vegetable knife)


KANETSUNE has been cultivated in the 800-year historical blade capital of SEKI city, Japan. “Seki-den” is the secret method of Japanese sword-making that has been passed down to this present day from 800 years ago. The brand was named after the real well-known master swordsmith “Kanetsune Seki”.
