</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><br />
The knife is 100% entirely made of this special highest-grade quality material by Bohler-Uddeholm with the lowest impurities, that is forged in Japan to get higher hardness and quite thinner blade for extra light weight.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.hocho-knife.com/sakai-takayuki-grand-chef-sp-type-iii/"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-7250 size-large" src="http://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651-1024x576.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="360" srcset="https://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651-300x169.jpg 300w, https://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651-768x432.jpg 768w, https://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://blog.hocho-knife.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_E5580_Rotated193651.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a><br />

<p>The Tokujyo is made to put soft kitchen knife iron on Yasuki&#8217;s traditional Nihonko or Hagane &#8212; Shiroko / White Paper No.2 Steel &#8212;<br />
which has been widely used for a very long time in Japan. The material makes extreme sharpness, very good edge holding and high working hardness.<br />
