—————— Q & A ——————

<A customer’s question>
“Hello,
I’d like to ask if Sakai Takayuki single-bevel Ginsanko series come with wooden saya? As well as Suisin Inox Honyaki series?
Regards”

<our answer>
“Dear xxxxx,

We regret to say that the Takayuki Ginsanko series & Suishin Inox Honyaki do not come with original wooden saya.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you need a knife with wooden saya as standard, we recommend the followings,

Sabun Honyaki (Gyokuhaku-ko) [with Saya]
Sabun Honkasumi Gyokuhaku-ko [with Saya]
…..”

—————— additional information ——————
Of course other than the above two series, there are a various types of wooden saya as follows,

Saya for Misono UX10

Actually the size of any blade is basically different from others, so the inner size of saya should fit the targeted knife.
If you use the saya for a knife of different series, the saya may get cracked or the blade may get bent.

Therefore, it is sometimes not easy to find the saya for your knife :’-(
