Two Popular Full-Hand-Engraving Japanese Art Deba Knives by Sakai Takayuki

Sakai Takayuki popular line of Japanese art engraved deba knives feature beautiful traditional dwawing on the blade by full-hand engraving.

The beautiful pictures are carefully hand-engraved by the skilled craftsperson, Kubota-san, who is one of the few art-engraviners with high-quality in Japan.

The blades are made to put soft kitchen knife iron on Yasuki’s traditional Nihonko or Hagane which has been widely used for a very long time in Japan. The material makes extreme sharpness, very good edge holding and high working hardness.
